Can the Aura Blender blend ice & frozen ingredients?
Yes. Add some water or liquid along with your frozen ingredients, start the blades, then tilt the blender base in a circular motion while blending.
Can I charge my Aura Blender with a portable charger?
Yes. The Aura Blender is easy to charge on the go with a portable power pack. In fact, you can even charge it from your laptop or in the car! It also works with regular phone chargers.
What makes the Aura Blender different from other portable blenders?
The Aura Blender is specially designed in our R&D labs in California. It uses our powerful AuraVortex™ Blending Technology not found in any other blender, achieving a much smoother and more even blend compared to regular portable blenders.
What is the difference between borosilicate glass and plastic blenders?
Borosilicate glass is a much safer option for food than plastic for many reasons. Any kind of plastic, even those labelled 'BPA-free', contains chemicals and have been proven by scientists to be harmful to human health. Furthermore, borosilicate glass is safe for warm blends, whereas this should never be handled in a plastic blender as it poses a risk of toxic leaching into food.
How durable is borosilicate glass? Will it break easily?
The AuraXtreme™ Borosilicate Glass is engineered to be more 5X more durable than plastic and safe for warm temperatures. Unlike regular glass, it's 3X more lightweight and doesn't break easily.
Can I fly with my Aura Blender?
Yes. As the Aura Blender features a lithium-ion battery and contains blades, we recommend that you pack your Aura Blender with the cup or lid securely attached, in your checked luggage without any liquid inside.
How do I clean my Aura Blender?
The Aura Blender cleans itself easily. We recommend blending water with a drop of dish soap to clean your Aura Blender. Rinse with plain water, and you're ready for your next blended creation!
Please take note that the interior of the blender is waterproof, however, the motor base especially the exterior power button and charging port should not be exposed directly to running water. To clean the motor base, detach and wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not soak or leave the motor base under running water as this may damage the electric components. Leave all parts to air dry.
Do I need to add water or liquid to create a juice?
Yes. We highly recommend adding a liquid ingredient when juicing fruits and vegetables in the Aura Blender to achieve a perfectly smooth blend.
What ingredients can I use in the Aura Blender?
You can use many different kinds of soft fruits, such as strawberries, bananas, kiwis, blueberries, supplement powders and protein powders. Make sure that ingredients are cut so they fit easily into the 480 mL cup, so that food does not get lodged or stuck while blending.
Can I blend hot ingredients in the Aura Blender?
No. Never use the Aura Blender to blend hot ingredients. Hot ingredients release steam when blended, causing pressure to build in the sealed cup. Too much pressure will cause the cup/blade assembly to erupt upon opening, sending hot ingredients through the air (and all over your kitchen) and may cause thermal injuries.
Can I blend carbonated ingredients in the Aura Blender?
No. Never use the Aura Blender to blend carbonated ingredients. Carbonated ingredients release gas when blended, causing pressure to build in the sealed cup. Too much pressure from carbonation may cause the cup/blade assembly to separate, spraying ingredients through the air (and all over your kitchen).
